If You See Kay

If You See Kay, tell her I miss her.

If You See Kay, tell her I need her.

If You See Kay, tell her I want her back

More than any other back

And that’s a natural fact.

You know I miss that girl

If You See Kay, tell her I’m lonely.

If You See Kay, say I miss her only.

If You See Kay, tell her we could have a ball

In the bedroom or the hall

Or up against the bathroom wall

And that ain’t all.

If You See Kay, tell her I’m cryin’.

If You See Kay, say that my heart’s dyin’.

If You See Kay, tell her I’m still into her

Or at least I’d like to be

So if she could get into me

Then send her home.

If You See Kay!

NOTES:  The first song I remember writing and the only true love song.  Kay was my first true lust and when she went off to college, met an "older man" and dumped he, she broke my heart.  Somehow I lived through it but in those difficult two weeks, I wrote this sincere love song.  It still makes me cry.
